From our PLC (Top left), we must first connect to the backplane. The next step would be to connect to our own Ethernet module (or ControlNet if you have a ControlNet connection). Next, we will specify what our exit port is (we will come out the front port of the Ethernet module. Next, we specify which IP address to connect to on the Ethernet network (or ControlNet node), then we go to the backplane, and then connect to the processor in slot 0.
